More than that though, this chalet clock comes adorned with individually handlaid shingles and intricate wood carving. No detail is missed in the design of this house: even the wanderer has stone path to walk on! Decorative metal pinecones serve as counterweights to the strikes and cuckoo calls that come on both half and full hours.

Anton Schneider began producing cuckoo clocks in 1848 in his farmhouse in Schonach.
